What happened to our $70,000? Tuesday morning, Maumelle Monitored will report that auditors investigated the case of money missing from the Park on the River and still haven't solved the mystery.

City Council meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Now is the time for all good Maumellians to fill up council chambers to show the mayor and council members we're watching how they run our city.

More than a year after Maumelle Council Member Christine Grunwald blew the whistle on the approximately $70,000 missing from the city’s Park on the River account, the city’s hired auditors can’t tell us how that happened or who allowed it to happen.

The fact is, we don’t know anymore today than we did when Ms. Grunwald sounded the alarm at budget meetings in December 2022.
